The estimate for the intercept represents the reference species, Myliobatis californica, and the magnitude and sign of the estimates for interspecific comparisons show that the rates for both Urobatis halleri and Pteroplatytrygon violacea are significantly lower relative to M. californica(*P<0.05, **P<0.01, ***P<0.001)
