Multiple regression statistics are presented by Experiment (identified in the 1st column). The adjusted r2 for the model is presented in the 2nd column, and the beta coefficients for strain magnitude against each individual variable (listed in 3rd column) are given with their significance levels (4th columns). The zero-order correlation coefficients from Table 2 are reproduced in the 5th column for ease of reference, along with their significance levels,and the partial correlation coefficients for the multiple regression model(6th column). The tolerance value is given in the last column. The tolerance for a variable is the proportion of the variance in that variable not accounted for by other independent variables in the model. A low value indicates that the variable contributes little to the model independent of the other variables, and is an indicator of multicollinearity.
