Values are means ± s.e.m. of heart rate(fh) and mean circulatory filling pressure (MCFP) in unstimulated control, post- and pre-branchial occlusion.

A sham-injection of physiological saline (1 ml kg-1), following the same experimental protocol as in Fig. 2, was administered.
