Summary: Protein aggregation can either induce or mitigate cytotoxicity, depending on the context. Here, studies with aggregates formed by three GFP-linked proteins in yeast suggest that it is cytoprotective.
SGIP1 binding to the α-helical H9 domain of cannabinoid receptor 1 promotes axonal surface expression

The mRNA-capping enzyme localizes to stress granules in the cytoplasm and maintains cap homeostasis of target mRNAs
Summary: Mammalian mRNA capping enzyme is exported to the cytoplasm where it localizes to stress granules during oxidative stress and protects its substrate mRNAs in the time of cellular recovery from stress.
