Tools and Resources for Mouse Studies

The mouse is an exceptional model organism in biomedical research because of its unique potential for experimental manipulation and genetic similarity to humans. The mouse is also a prominent model for the discovery and preclinical testing of new drugs. In this collection, we showcase articles that provide tools of broad usefulness to the mouse research community, or discuss techniques and issues relating to the standardisation and reproducibility of mouse-based research. Readers can find studies that have used mice to provide insight into specific diseases in our other dedicated collections.
