Advanced In Vitro Models: A New Dimension In Translational Research Modelling
Organoids and bioengineered three-dimensional culture systems offer more accurate representation of the cellular microenvironment than traditional monolayer culture. They can be genetically modified to phenocopy development and disease, test therapeutic interventions and screen drugs.
