Outstanding paper prize
Each year, Development awards a prize (£1000) to the first author (or authors, where there is joint first authorship) of the research paper that is judged to have made the most outstanding contribution to the journal that year.
All Research Articles and Techniques and Resources papers are eligible for consideration. Papers are shortlisted, and a winner chosen, by the journal's Editors. The shortlist and winning papers are announced in an editorial, alongside a short profile of the winning authors, who are also invited to present their work in a special edition of our 'Development presents...' webinar series.
