A 37 kb region upstream of brachyury comprising a notochord enhancer is essential for notochord and tail development
Summary: Genetic dissection of the mouse brachyury locus identifies a notochord enhancer and predicts additional control elements essential for trunk and tail development of the mouse embryo.
CFAP61 is required for sperm flagellum formation and male fertility in human and mouse

A case for broadening our view of mechanism in developmental biology
