Cane toads (Rhinella marina) have been dispersing across northern Australia since they were introduced more than 70 years ago. Although toads at the invasion front have evolved behavioural and morphological characteristics that facilitate dispersal, they apparently do not have differences in physiological characteristics that could facilitate dispersal.
